Marketing website

The marketing website at pozare.app does not set or read cookies, local storage or session storage. It includes no advertising pixels, behavioural tracking, session replay or analytics scripts, and the waitlist works without browser storage.

Event app

The event app uses cookies and browser storage only where it is strictly necessary to provide the service you asked for:

• Organiser sign-in cookie: a secure, HTTP-only cookie that keeps an organiser signed in to one event dashboard for up to 30 days. It is not readable by scripts and is sent only to the app's sign-in refresh endpoint.
• Guest session (local storage): an anonymous token, stored per event, so a guest's photos stay linked to their session and upload limits and moderation work. It contains no name or email.
• Upload notice acknowledgement (local storage): remembers that you have seen the photo-sharing notice for an event so it is not shown again each time.
• Recent events (local storage): a short list of events an organiser opened on this device, so they can return to them quickly.
• Organiser event (session storage): keeps the current event selected while an organiser has the dashboard open, and clears when the tab is closed.

You can clear this storage at any time in your browser settings; the app will then forget your session and, for guests, you may lose the link between you and photos you uploaded earlier.

Camera

If an organiser or guest chooses to scan a QR code, the app asks permission to use the device camera. The video is processed on the device only to read the code and is not recorded or sent to us. You can refuse or withdraw the permission in your browser.

Why there is no cookie banner

Everything above is strictly necessary for the app to work, so no consent choice is required. We do not use advertising or analytics cookies, or an identifier stored on your device to follow you across events or websites. A banner asking for consent to technologies that are not used would be misleading.

Hosting and external links

The website and app are hosted using Cloudflare and Railway. Hosting and security infrastructure may process request information and may use technologies that are strictly necessary to deliver and protect the service. No optional Cloudflare analytics beacon is configured. Instagram and TikTok are ordinary links, not embedded widgets; those services are contacted only if you choose to follow a link.

Future changes

Before adding analytics, advertising, embedded media or any other technology that stores or accesses information on a device and is not strictly necessary, pozare will review whether prior consent is required and update this policy. Optional technology will not be loaded before any required consent. See also our privacy notice.
